Services & Booking Disclaimer
At Rest Assured Cleaning Services Ltd., we are committed to providing reliable, professional, and respectful service. The following terms and conditions apply to all residential and commercial cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, junk removal, handyman services, drip-free balcony cleaning, security and plant-watering checks, and senior home-care services booked with us.
Service Pricing & Scope of Work
Service pricing is based on the size, condition, accessibility, and scope of work represented by the client at the time of booking. If there is a significant discrepancy upon arrival—including differences in the size or condition of the property, excessive buildup, clutter, number of rooms or items, accessibility, or requested work—we reserve the right to adjust the quoted price or decline the service.
Any additional services or work requested after the initial booking may be subject to additional charges. Where reasonably possible, we will discuss any changes in pricing with the client before proceeding.
Cleaning, Stains & Pre-Existing Damage
Our cleaning services are intended to clean, sanitize, and improve the appearance of your property. Cleaning services cannot guarantee the complete removal of stains, odours, buildup, discoloration, or other conditions that are permanent, set-in, or caused by age, wear, improper maintenance, or previous damage.
Pre-existing damage, including damage to flooring, walls, paint, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, appliances, furniture, upholstery, windows, blinds, or other surfaces, is not caused or repaired by our cleaning service. We are not responsible for deterioration or damage that becomes apparent during cleaning when it was pre-existing or reasonably attributable to the age or condition of the item or surface.
Stain removal, restoration, repairs, painting, and other specialized work may be available as separate services and may require additional assessment and pricing.
Clients are encouraged to remove personal belongings, valuables, fragile items, and other objects from areas intended for cleaning. If our staff are required to move or remove furniture, personal belongings, boxes, clutter, or other obstacles, additional charges may apply. Rest Assured Cleaning Services Ltd. is not responsible for damage to items that are moved when necessary to access an area for cleaning, particularly where items are fragile, unstable, improperly assembled, or otherwise unsuitable for moving.
Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning
Carpet and upholstery cleaning can improve the appearance and cleanliness of fabrics and surfaces; however, results vary depending on the age, material, construction, condition, previous treatments, staining, and type of soiling.
We cannot guarantee complete removal of permanent stains, pet damage, dye transfer, fading, odours, wear, or other pre-existing conditions. Certain materials may require specialized treatment or may not be suitable for certain cleaning methods. We reserve the right to decline treatment where we believe cleaning could reasonably cause damage to the material.
Window Cleaning
Window cleaning pricing is based on the number, size, accessibility, and condition of the windows represented at booking. Additional charges may apply for windows requiring specialized equipment, excessive buildup removal, difficult access, or additional labour.
We are not responsible for pre-existing scratches, cracks, damaged seals, deteriorated frames, failed glazing, loose screens, or other pre-existing window or frame conditions. Windows or components that are unsafe to access or clean may be declined.
Junk Removal
Junk removal pricing is based on the estimated volume, type, weight, accessibility, and disposal requirements of the items represented at booking.
Additional charges may apply if the actual volume or type of material differs substantially from the information provided. Certain hazardous, regulated, prohibited, or otherwise unsuitable materials may be refused.
Clients are responsible for identifying items intended for removal before our team begins work. Items removed and disposed of at the client’s direction may not be recoverable once removed. Rest Assured Cleaning Services Ltd. is not responsible for items that are mistakenly identified by the client or their representative as unwanted.
Handyman Services
Handyman services are intended for general maintenance, minor repairs, assembly, installation, and other agreed-upon tasks within the capabilities of our service personnel.
Pricing and completion times may change if concealed damage, unsafe conditions, code-related issues, structural problems, defective materials, or other unforeseen circumstances are discovered.
Unless specifically agreed upon, handyman services do not include electrical, plumbing, gas, structural, roofing, or other specialized work requiring a licensed trade or professional certification. We reserve the right to decline any work that we reasonably determine to be unsafe or outside the appropriate scope of our services.
Drip-Free Balcony Cleaning
Balcony cleaning is performed with reasonable care to minimize water runoff and prevent dripping onto areas below. However, drip-free cleaning cannot guarantee that absolutely no water, moisture, cleaning solution, or debris will escape the balcony area, particularly due to wind, drainage design, building construction, weather conditions, or existing drainage issues.
Clients are responsible for notifying us of sensitive items, neighbouring units, building restrictions, or other conditions that may affect balcony cleaning.
Security & Plant-Watering Checks
Security and plant-watering checks are intended as a general property check and convenience service and are not a substitute for professional security, alarm monitoring, property management, or emergency response services.
We will make reasonable efforts to follow the instructions provided by the client. However, we cannot guarantee the prevention or detection of theft, vandalism, water leaks, damage, plant loss, break-ins, or other unforeseen events.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate instructions, access information, emergency contacts, and any relevant information concerning the property. We are not responsible for losses or damage resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Senior Home-Care Services
Our senior home-care services are intended to provide non-medical household assistance, companionship, light housekeeping, errands, and other agreed-upon support.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, our services do not include medical care, nursing, diagnosis, medication administration, medical treatment, or other regulated healthcare services.
Clients or their representatives are responsible for communicating relevant instructions, limitations, emergency contacts, and any safety concerns before service begins. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services where conditions are unsafe or where the requested care falls outside the scope of our services.
In the event of a medical emergency or situation requiring immediate medical attention, emergency services should be contacted.
Access & Property Conditions
Clients are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property and all areas included in the booking. This includes ensuring that keys, access codes, parking arrangements, elevators, building permissions, and other required access arrangements are available at the scheduled time.
If we are unable to perform the scheduled service due to circumstances outside our control—including failure to provide access, locked doors, inaccessible areas, building restrictions, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances preventing the service from being completed—the appointment may be considered a cancellation and the applicable cancellation fee will apply.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- A $50 cancellation fee will apply to cancellations made within 24–48 hours of the scheduled service time.
- A cancellation fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service total will apply to cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time.
- Requests to reschedule an appointment are treated as cancellations and are subject to the same cancellation fees.
- We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur and may, at our discretion, make exceptions to these fees in appropriate circumstances.
- By booking a service with Rest Assured Cleaning Services Ltd., the customer acknowledges and agrees to these cancellation and rescheduling terms.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We proudly stand behind our work. Clients have up to 48 hours following completion of a service to contact us regarding areas that may have been missed or require additional attention.
Where appropriate, Rest Assured Cleaning Services Ltd. will provide a complimentary follow-up for qualifying concerns related to the original scope of work.
Our satisfaction guarantee applies to areas included in the original service and does not cover pre-existing damage, permanent stains, normal wear and tear, conditions that were not reasonably visible or disclosed at the time of booking, or additional work outside the original scope.
General Disclaimer
While Rest Assured Cleaning Services Ltd. takes reasonable care when providing its services, certain results cannot be guaranteed due to factors beyond our control, including the condition, age, material, construction, accessibility, previous maintenance, weather, building conditions, or other characteristics of the property or items being serviced.
We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue any service where we reasonably believe that performing the requested work could create an unsafe condition, cause damage, or fall outside the scope of our services.
By booking a service with Rest Assured Cleaning Services Ltd., the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to these service terms and understands the limitations and conditions applicable to the services requested.
Rest Assured Cleaning Services Ltd. reserves the right to update these terms and conditions from time to time.
